Olly Dundas is a freelance photographer, videographer and lighting director based in London, UK.

A Falmouth University photography graduate, Olly’s first venture into the industry was assisting renowned portrait photographer RANKIN for 3 years. Olly was selected to accompany RANKIN to Los Angeles where he worked as one of two set photographers for Germany’s Next Top Model, assisted the photographing of the 2025 Grammy Award winners and directed lighting for a multitude of Hunger Magazine shoots.

Now freelance, with a particular interest in fashion and editorial visuals, Olly has worked alongside names such as Jack Bridgland, RANKIN and Holly McCandless Desmond for the likes of Mowalola, Rolling Stone and New Wave Magazine. He has extensive experience lighting photographic sets ranging in size, for location photography as well as large commercial studio spaces.

Olly’s personal photography is an exploration of calm and chaos. Using techniques such as intentional blur and dragged shutter, his work fills the space between physicality and sentiment, his subjects self-assured yet vulnerable. This, combined with an innate composure, has led Olly to collaborate with artists such as Annahstasia, Freddy Forbidden, Jelani Blackman, Kenan Kián and Louis VI.
